How to create and verify my WazirX account? – WazirX

Creating a WazirX account is quick and simple. Click Sign Up at the top-right of the website and follow the steps below.

Step 1: Email & Password

No.	What You Need to Do
1	Enter a valid email ID (used for login and communication; cannot be changed later).
2	Set a strong password (6–64 characters; recommended 10+ with letters, numbers & special characters).

1	Click Verify Email from the email sent to you. The verification link is valid for 15 minutes.
2	If you don't receive the email, check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder.
3	Select Resend Verification Email if required.

Set up Two-Factor Authentication for security:

No.	What You Need to Do
1	Set up an Authenticator App (Recommended).
2	If using SMS 2FA, enter your 10-digit Indian mobile number without the country code or 0.
3	Enter the OTP received via SMS.
4	If the OTP is delayed, wait up to 10 minutes or select Resend OTP.

Required to deposit, withdraw, and trade.

No.	What You Need to Do
1	Choose Instant Verification (via DigiLocker).
2	Enter your PAN number.
3	Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
4	Verify using the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
5	DigiLocker securely shares your Aadhaar & PAN details with WazirX.
6	Choose Manual Verification if you face trouble with Instant Verification.

No.	What You Need to Do
1	Take a clear selfie.
2	Ensure there is good lighting and you are not wearing glasses or hats.

Verification may take a few minutes (Almost Instant) or up to 72 hours (for manual verification).
You’ll receive an email once approved.
If rejected, the email will mention the reason and next steps.

KYC approval is subject to WazirX verification criteria. WazirX reserves the right to reject applications without giving reasons.

Re-KYC is required annually as part of compliance directives issued by the FIU-IND.
