How to Sell USDT on WazirX P2P?

If you have cryptos on WazirX & you're looking to cash out, first sell your cryptos for USDT on WazirX Exchange and then sell these USDT for Fiat via P2P. WazirX will safely hold your USDT in escrow until you confirm the payment :)

Steps to Sell USDT on WazirX P2P -

  1. Click on P2P at the top of your screen 
  2. Enter the volume of USDT you want to sell. You can also mention the total amount in Fiat to adjust the USDT volume. 
  3. Click on the Place Sell Order button. WazirX will start finding buyers for your order.
  4. WazirX will then start showing you the matches. Your order may be matched with multiple buyers for differing quantities.
  5. Each match (buyer) will make the payment to your bank account separately. After you have received payment, click on 'Yes, I have received' for that particular match only.
⚠️Important: In Step 5, Click on Yes, I have received ONLY if you have received the payment in your bank account. Clicking on this button results in the releasing of USDT to the buyer & this action cannot be reversed.

Is there a limit on the volume of USDT I can sell?

The minimum USDT sell limit is 14.5 USDT. There's no maximum limit on the volume of USDT you can sell. However, we recommend you to place your sell orders in parts as that will help you in easily identifying or reconciling the payments you receive.

How much time does a buyer have to make a payment to me?

Once you are matched with a buyer, they have 60 minutes to make the payment to you. They also get an additional 30 minutes to raise a dispute in case if they have forgotten to confirm the payment in the first 60 minutes.

The Buyer has confirmed the payment but I have not received it.

It is possible that the Buyer has made the payment to your bank account but it is awaiting settlement in the banking system. We recommend you to wait for four hours for the payment to come. If you do not receive the payment in four hours, the order will automatically move to dispute.

You will immediately get an email from our dispute team requesting for payment proof. Please reply to this email within 15 minutes. The dispute team will then review your payment proof along with other details and take a final decision on your dispute.
