Deposit/Receive Cryptocurrency to your WazirX account - Process & Time Taken

When you need to move your Cryptocurrency from another wallet/exchange to your WazirX wallet, you need to go through the process of Depositing cryptocurrency to your WazirX account.

The first step here is to get the Deposit address from your WazirX wallet so you can add it to the withdrawal process in the wallet/exchange you are sending the coins from.

  1. Click on Funds at the top of your screen 
  2. Select the coin you want to Deposit
  3. Click on the Deposit button
  4. Here you will see your Destination Address. Click on the copy button to copy the address and paste it into the withdrawal section of wallet/exchange from where you are sending the coins.

    Note: If you are depositing Ripple (XRP), you will also see a Destination Tag. You need to add the Destination Tag along with Destination Address to the exchange/wallet from where you are sending the XRP. Read more - How do I Deposit/Withdraw Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM) or EOS
⚠️Important: Always check the destination address carefully. If you enter the wrong destination address or enter the destination address of the wrong coin, it will be lost forever and there is nothing we can do.
  1. On the Home screen, tap on the Funds tab
  2. Select the coin you want to Deposit
  3. Tap on the Deposit button at the bottom
  4. Here you will see your Destination Address. Click on the copy button to copy the address and paste it into the wallet/exchange from where you are sending the coins.

Processing Time

  • Most crypto deposits are credited quickly, depending on the blockchain network speed and congestion

  • Please contact support only if the deposit is not reflected after 24 hours

Fees & Limits

  • Deposit fee: Free for all crypto deposits

  • Minimum deposit: No minimum limit

Transfers Between WazirX Accounts

  • Direct crypto transfers between two WazirX accounts are not supported

  • Such transactions will be rejected
