Due to recent changes in SBI's YONO platform, users may currently be unable to add or use the Virtual Account Number (VAN) beneficiary required for INR deposits through the SBI YONO application and SBI YONO Net Banking.
Please note that this issue originates from SBI YONO and is not related to WazirX.
What can you do?
As a workaround, we recommend using a different bank account for INR deposits.
Navigation
- Log in to your WazirX account.
- Go to Profile Settings → Banking & Payments.
- Remove the existing SBI bank account.
- Add and verify a new bank account.
- Use the newly added account for INR deposits.
⚠️ Important
- This issue originates from SBI YONO and is not caused by WazirX.
- Deposits through SBI YONO App and YONO Net Banking may not be successful at this time.
- We recommend using a different bank account for INR deposits.
- You may also contact SBI Support and request them to enable the VAN beneficiary option on YONO.
