Trading to Resume on WazirX with Zero Trading Fee from 24th October

We are ready to begin the next chapter for WazirX with the platform restart, bringing trading back steadily and completely. In the coming days, our focus will be on enabling trading for all tokens safely, testing each phase carefully, and ensuring every user has a smooth trading experience.

Starting 24th Oct, 2025, tokens will be enabled for trading in phases over four days, reaching full activation by 27th Oct, 2025, well before the 10-business-day deadline of 30th Oct, 2025 

This phased rollout will help restore liquidity safely, confirm technical stability, and ensure a gradual and reliable return to normal trading across all market pairs.

How the Restart Will Happen

Trading on WazirX will begin with a ZERO trading fee across all markets. This means you can trade any available token without any trading fee. This will run for 30 days, during which the platform will evaluate how users respond to the offer. Based on the response from the community, the offer could be extended further. Trading will be enabled gradually over four days, beginning 24 October 2025. Each day, around 25% of all tokens will be enabled for trading until the platform reaches full functionality by 27 October.

During this phase:

• From 24th to 27th October, all tokens will be enabled for trading in the USDT market.
   
• In the INR market, only the USDT/INR pair will be live initially. Other INR trading pairs will be enabled gradually after the platform reaches full functionality, with separate announcements shared accordingly.

To help ensure a smooth trading experience across phases:

• Order placement across all live markets has been enabled.
   
• Order matching will start at 5:00 PM IST.

This phased activation allows users to place and review orders calmly before trading goes live.

As tokens are enabled for trading, they will display real-time Last Traded Prices (LTP).
Markets yet to go live will temporarily reflect prices from CoinMarketCap (CMC).

This approach ensures a smooth, stable, and transparent restart, allowing users to follow the progress clearly, day by day.

Please note that the Funds page reflects token values based on the Last Traded Price (LTP) using the USDT/INR rate, while the Rebalanced NLPA page uses the USD/INR rate and displays aggregated global prices.

Phased Rollout Schedule

Please note:

1) Over the period when the platform remained inactive, several token projects underwent important changes. As part of our ongoing due diligence and in line with our listing standards, a few tokens have been delisted, and some have been swapped or merged based on project-led developments.

At WazirX, we periodically review every listed token to ensure it continues to meet our standards of transparency, technical stability, and project integrity. When a token no longer meets these standards or when the project itself changes direction, we take the necessary steps to protect our users – including delisting or swapping where required.

2) Crypto withdrawals will be available starting 24th October, with various tokens being gradually enabled over time as part of a phased approach. INR withdrawals are already enabled.

1. Selling in haste without verifying the latest market prices.
2. Assuming prices on the first day reflect long-term market value.
