WazirX supports Instant INR deposits & withdrawals via multiple payment modes. To get started, add your bank account and UPI account. We recommend adding both the payment options for the convenience of the buyers in P2P. You can also remove and add new details whenever you'd like.
Note: You can only add your own bank account. We match your bank account / UPI ID name with your KYC documents and only if they match, your payment details will be successfully added.
To add payment details, follow these steps:
- Go to Account Settings
- Click on Payment Options
- Click on “Add A New Payment Option”
Bank Account
- Add an Alias (nickname) for the new payment option
- Enter bank account number twice to avoid any mistake
- Enter the IFSC code of your bank account
- Select your bank account type: Saving or Current
- Click on Submit
UPI ID
- Add an Alias (nickname) for the new payment option
- Enter your UPI or VPA ID
- Click on Submit
Once submitted, your payment details are verified automatically and you can start INR deposits and withdrawals.
To remove payment details, follow these steps:
- Go to Account Settings
- Click on Payment Options
- Click on the Bank Account or UPI ID you want to remove
- Click on “Remove”
Can the payment details belong to someone else?
No. The bank account & UPI ID must be on your own. You may, however, be a joint account holder too.
Can I change my payment details when I have an open P2P sell order?
No. All your P2P seller orders must either be closed or canceled for you to change your payment details.
Can I choose to receive payments via a preferred method?
Yes, you can set one bank account and one UPI ID as default. The buyer will be able to see your default payment details to complete the P2P order.
